The Brazil World Music Museum is a not-for-profit archive, music library and research center located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The museum collects and preserves popular music of all cultures and races. Independent and major label artists are represented on our collection. Our holdings have grown to over 1 million sound recordings, making us the largest music collection in South America. We are growing daily as we acquire recordings from collectors, artists, record companies, publishers and distributors from around the world. We maintain an electronic database of our sound recordings.

Here at MIDEM, we are looking to acquire vinyl and CD recordings from around the world. We are interested in buying every type of audio sound recording including music, comedy, speeches and spoken word. We are looking to acquire collections both large and small. The Museum is looking to build its collection with recordings from every language group from every country worldwide.
